Since its inception in 2003, the Password-secured Disk has been the most valuable value-added feature of mini-USB2 Flash Drives. After a mini-USB2 Flash Drive is properly configured, user can store sensitive data in an encrypted partition with password protection while allowing other users to read/write data in the public partition of the drive.

Two Windows software tools, Disk Format and Secured Disk Login, are available to all retail and corporate customers in the downloads page of our web site. With Disk Format, users will be able to enable the Password-secured Disk feature. Secured Disk Login authenticates authorized user before the secured disk (partition) can been seen on Windows desktop or any applications.

Driverless Operations and User-mode Friendly

Password-secured Disk feature is implemented in the mini-USB2 hardware. It requires no software installation, thus enabling true portability. If you are in a tightly-controlled corporate IT environment and your PC users do not have administrative privilege (e.g. limited Accounts in Windows XP and Restricted Users in Windows 2000), you can provide you with a user-mode login software program(replacing the standard Secured Disk Login).
